Description
GPIO for Calrec Type R Broadcast Consoles
Expanding the range of Calrec's Type R IO boxes, the Type R GPIO provides a 1RU network capable unit with extended physical GPIO facilities for any Type R installation.
Designed to be used alongside existing TypeR IO Boxes on the same AoIP network, the GPIO provides greater flexibility for integration with playout systems, codecs, automation systems any other equipment in your installation.
Calrec’s Type R GPIO unit is a 1U box which provides a further 32 x GPOs and 32 GPIs for interfacing with external systems such as phone systems, playout and codecs etc.
Functionality can be incorporated onto physical buttons on Type R soft panels, fader panels or web UIs, and set up via Calrec’s easy to use Connect app.
