Synthax Audio move to Salisbury Hall

30th September 2011 10:34 am

Salisbury Hall, London Colney UKWe are pleased to announce that due to expansion, Synthax Audio has moved to a bigger facility close to St. Albans in Hertfordshire. “Salisbury Hall” is just a stone’s throw from the M25 (Junc 22) and boasts a rich and interesting history.

Many manor houses have been built on this location since the 9th century, with the present house originally built around 1668. It has been home to many including Lady Randolph Churchill, mother of Winston who also spent much time there. A cottage located in the grounds of the manor was also home to Nell Gwynne who (allegedly) hosted many a visit from King Charles II.

Salisbury Hall is also home to the de Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre, formerly known as the Mosquito Museum.  The museum’s collection is based around the definitive prototype and restoration shops for the de Havilland Mosquito and also includes several examples of the de Havilland Vampire – the third operational jet aircraft in the world. In fact, if you come to visit us at any point, the car park is located at the back of Salisbury Hall, over the moat (yes, honestly, a moat) and right next to the planes.

The move will allow us to further improve our service to our dealers and customers, both new and exisiting alike.
