Why Upgrade to an RME Fireface UCX?

17th July 2012 12:27 pm

Why upgrade to the RME Fireface UCXAlthough the RME Fireface UCX looks like either an RME Fireface UC or RME Fireface 400, it is an entirely different beast. As well as the 18 I/O (8 x Analogue), SPDIF, ADAT I/O, Word Clock, USB & FireWire connectivity, the RME Fireface UCX is the first professional audio interface to offer class compliance mode. This allows you to connect the Fireface UCX to your Apple iPad and then allows the analogue mic/line input 1 to work with mono apps, inputs 1 and 2 with stereo apps (both dual mono and stereo), and all 8 analogue inputs with 8-channel applications, such as MultiTrack DAW and Music Studio.

So, this video shows you why you should upgrade to an RME Fireface UCX from your Fireface 400 or other audio interface.
