RME ADI-2 Pro debuts at CanJam London 2016: New high-end headphone amp and DAC to be shown for the first time in the UK
If you're strictly a hifi enthusiast, then you may not have come across RME Audio before. The German manufacturer has traditionally focussed on supplying professional recording studios and mastering houses around the world with industry-standard converters, audio interfaces and microphone preamps. With a reputation for accuracy and rock-solid reliability, the company's devices can also be found throughout academic, broadcast and scientific circles.
So if you're currently unfamiliar with the company, then let us introduce to you the RME ADI-2 Pro, RME's new high-end headphone amplifier and DAC that's designed to meet the needs of the most demanding listening applications. Announced earlier this year at the Musikmesse show in Frankfurt, the device has been gathering interest among mastering engineers and high-end audio enthusiasts alike, with its comprehensive feature set that includes onboard spectral analyser and EQ, and support for sample rates of up to 768kHz. Combined with the latest in RME's conversion technologies, the ADI-2 Pro looks on track to be the perfect choice for both high-end professional and home listening environments.
RME’s Head of design Matthias Carstens also has a very personal interest in the ADI-2 Pro. As someone who is extremely passionate about the high-end musical experience, the ADI-2 Pro is a device close to Matthias’ heart, and he's personally overseen every step of the design process in his mission to create the ultimate headphone amplifier and DAC.

As the UK distributor of RME, it is therefore with great pleasure that we can confirm that the ADI-2 Pro will be available for demo at CanJam, for the first time in the UK. Members of the Synthax Audio UK team will be on hand to take you through this beautifully designed and incredibly powerful device, giving you the opportunity to try it out for yourself before it hits the shelves.
We will also be representing another German manufacturer in the form of Ultrasone Headphones, with the full flagship Edition range available at the show. We'll also be featuring the company’s new limited edition headphone the Tribute 7, as well as the latest member to the Ultrasone family, the Edition M+ Black Pearl, which have so far only been demonstrated at the High End show in Munich earlier this year.
For anyone who is interested in high-end audio, CanJam 2016 is not to be missed! Tickets to the show are available from the CanJam website, and are priced at £10 for a single day pass, or £15 for a weekend tickets. For full details of the event, please visit the official CanJam website here.
