If you are a musician, engineer, producer or audio professional, you’ll be well aware that the 2018 Musikmesse took place in Frankfurt last week, and with a reported 10% increase in trade bods walking the aisles.
RME was there in force with the biggest and probably the busiest stand in the main pro audio hall, 4.1. As well as launching the new Digiface Dante, Digiface AVB and ADI-2 Pro FS, there were live performances from a number of acts, as well as product demo stations with various RME products.
We managed to pin down RME’s head of design, Matthias Carstens who guided us through the new Digiface Dante and AVB network products. Watch the whole video below.
The guys form Ferrofish also had a new product to talk about. The new Ferrofish Pulse 16 DX is a variation on its Pulse 16 siblings, but with the addition of Dante. The AD/DA converter offers 16 channels of analogue, Dante, MADI and ADAT.
