RME has released the latest updated drivers and firmware for all RME devices operating on both Mac and Windows.
This update brings improved performance and stability to the latest operating systems, alongside the new firmware updates for the ADI-2 Pro and ADI-2 DAC.

Connecting your RME device on High Sierra
If you’re a Mac user who has (or is thinking about) updating to High Sierra, it’s worth being aware of an issue you’ll likely come across when connecting your interface. This is due to a change in the way Apple recognises devices, requiring a change in the security settings to ensure your RME interface is recognised by your Mac. Wireless control of your audio interface with TotalMix Remote
If you haven’t tried it yet, don’t forget you can also now control your RME interface remotely with TotalMix Remote. Released earlier this year, TotalMix Remote is an additional free piece of software from RME, which allows RME’s mixing platform TotalMix FX to be controlled over a network.
This means you can now control your RME audio interfaces over WiFi, including from an Apple iPad via the free TotalMix Remote app for iPad, allowing you to mix from anywhere in your studio, or perform a wireless sound-check from anywhere in a venue.
TotalMix Remote supports all RME devices that feature TotalMix, which includes soundcards and interfaces going all the way back to 2001. This continues RME’s dedication to providing unrivalled, ongoing user support by delivering consistent long-term updates even for discontinued products.
TotalMix Remote can be downloaded from the RME website here (under the software drop-down menu).
