The Ultrasone stand set up and ready for the show
Synthax Audio UK would like to thank everyone who was involved in making Headroom 2016 at Metropolis such a success, where we showcased the latest range of Ultrasone Headphones.
For the second year in a row the headphone-oriented event was held at the legendary Metropolis Studios in Chiswick, London, with a focus on high-end headphones and portable music systems. There was a lot to see (and hear) with around 50 or so manufacturers showcasing their latest products, with representatives from each company on hand to provide advice.
At the Ultrasone stand we had a steady stream of musicians, producers, members of the audio press and high-end audio enthusiasts alike all interested in trying out the company’s flagship Edition range. Along with the Edition 5 (both the limited edition and unlimited versions were available to try) there was also particular interest in the Edition M, the only on-ear headphone in the Edition range and the latest member of the Ultrasone family.
To complete the collection we also had with us the Edition 10, Edition 12, Edition 8 Romeo, Julia and Carbon, plus the Signature DJ and Ultrasone’s new performance range too. We also had the bases covered in terms of amplification, giving visitors a choice of 3 playback options in the form of high-end (Meridian Prime, which we had playing back the company’s MQA format), portable (Chord Electronics Mojo) and studio (RME Babyface Pro).

Big thanks to everyone at Unilet Sound and Vision for putting on the event and inviting us to take part – it was great to be involved and to have the opportunity to exhibit our favourite products to so many passionate people. Thanks also to Metropolis for hosting the event and opening their doors for the two days, what a fantastic facility they have.
