Synthfest UK 2019 – Quick Overview Video
Rare Synths, seminars and workshops
As with previous shows, Synthfest will also feature a range of enthusiast gear including some incredibly rare synthesizers, unique modules, and experimental creations from talented electronics designers.
A number of seminars, product demos and workshops will be held throughout the day, including Synth Guru Paul Wiffen, who will discuss his 40 year career in sound design, deconstructing some of the sounds he created for artists such as Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre and Stevie Wonder.
E-mu are also celebrating the 50 year anniversary of their E-mu Modular – Tony Wride of Exclusively Analogue will be discussing the beginnings of this pioneering yet largely unknown modular synth, with notable users including Vince Clarke, Herbie Hancock, Hans Zimmer, Meat Beat Manifesto and Frank Zappa.
If you’re a synth nut this show is not to be missed – we hop to see you there! For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the SOS website here:
