Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see us at the Ultrasone Headphones stand at the CanJam Expo in London.
The premium headphone and personal audio show CanJam returned to London on the 13th and 14th of August, and Synthax Audio UK was there to debut 4 new products from Ultrasone and RME.
Held at the Park Plaza Hotel, the venue played host to a large number of HiFi brands and manufacturers showcasing the latest in high-end personal audio products.
UK Debuts for Ultrasone Headphones
Along with the full range of Ultrasone’s flagship Edition series, we also brought with us a selection of Ultrasone favourites such as the Ultrasone Signature Pro and the PROi 750. By far the biggest draw however was the latest additions to the Ultrasone family; the Edition M Black Pearl and the Edition M+ Black Pearl, the two new Edition class headphones specifically designed for high-end mobile listening.
We were also proud to have with us the company’s latest masterpiece the Ultrasone Tribute 7 (pictured left), a limited edition, handmade closed-back which Ultrasone has restricted to a one-off production run, with only 777 pairs available worldwide. Boasting wonderful sound quality and a very comfortable fit, these headphones were a popular choice with visitors to the show – and when paired with the upcoming RME ADI-2 Pro, the results are truly stunning!
RME ADI-2 Pro headphone amp and DAC
As this was a high-end headphone show we also had a selection of headphone amps on-hand to ensure visitors could experience the best audio quality. Along with the Meridian Prime and a Mytek Brooklyn, we also had two prototypes of the upcoming RME ADI-2 Pro, a mastering-grade headphone amp and DAC.
Having already proved popular with the Synthax staff, we were extremely pleased to find visitors to CanJam sharing our enthusiam for this fine example of German engineering.
The ADI-2 Pro has an extremely detailed and refined, uncoloured sound, making it the ideal tool for both mastering applications and for use in high-end home setups.
The device also has a variety of tricks up its sleeve, such as the ability to EQ each channel of your headphones independently – perfect if you have hearing problems in only one of your ears.
Other features include a high-resolution frequency analyser and metering, as well as a 5 band parametric EQ for tuning your headphones, with the ability to store up to 10 EQ states on the device itself. Full details of this awesome device can be found here.
