The Music Production Expo (MPX 2016) is the essential event for UK based music makers
The Music Production Expo, a.k.a MPX, is the UK's premier music technology show dedicated to all things music production. Providing the perfect opportunity to get hands-on with the latest tech, from microphones to synths, studio monitors to DAWs, the MPX is where top brands get together to showcase the latest in recording software and hardware. Along with the wide variety of gear available to demo, there'll also be a number of seminars held over the course of the two days.
If you’re someone with an interest in making music then this is your opportunity to check out the latest tech developments, along with getting the thoughts of key industry professionals on all aspects of the music creation process.
Synthax Audio UK will be there exhibiting a range of products from some of our most popular brands, including the new RME Fireface UFX+ and ADI-2 Pro, and the Icon QCon Pro X and Platform M DAW controllers. We'll also be giving away a Pop Audio Studio Edition to one lucky visitor each day in our competition giveaway, as well as offering a selection of 'Show Only' discount deals. RME Audio Interfaces
Celebrating 20 years of professional audio manufacture, RME released two ground-breaking new products this year, both of which we’ll have with us for demonstration. The RME Fireface UFX+ is an 188-channel powerhouse of an audio interface, whilst the RME ADI-2 Pro is a new mastering-grade AD/DA converter and headphone DAC with a host of unique features to match the incredibly high-end audio conversion (record at 384 kHz / DSD quality).
Ultrasone Headphones
German high-end headphone specialists Ultrasone have been producing headphones for over 25 years now. Best known for creating limited edition runs of luxury hand-made headphones, the company also caters to the professional audio market with its Signature, Performance and Pro ranges, all of which will available to demo at the MPX 2016.

Icon Pro Audio Control Surfaces
From audio interfaces and mic pres, to keyboards and control surfaces, Icon Pro Audio's range comes in all shapes and sizes. One of the company's most popular products is the Icon Qcon Pro, a comprehensive mixing and editing control surface with motorized faders. The company has just released a new version, the Icon Qcon Pro X, which will be available to demo for the first time in the UK at the Synthax stand. The company has also produced a mobile friendly version called the Platform M (along with the Platform D attachment), which we'll also have with us for you to try out.

Ferrofish AD/DA Converters
The Ferrofish A32, the latest AD/DA converter from Ferrofish, manages to squeeze an incredible 32 analogue inputs and 32 analogue outputs into 1U of rack-space. With a host of features and both ADAT and MADI functionality, the Ferrofish A32 has already found its way into a wide variety of professional audio applications.
Appsys ProAudio Format Converters
Swiss manufacturer Appsys is the creator of the Multiverter, a powerful digital audio format converter and router. The Multiverter can freely translate digital audio signals into a variety of the most commonly used formats, featuring support for ADAT, MADI, AES50 and Dante/AES67 (with AES3, Ravenna, AVB, SDI and SRC in the pipeline), at sample rates of up to 192kHz.
Pop Audio Pop Filters
Pop Audio is the creator of the Pop Audio Pop Filter, a redesigned pop shield that features interchangeable filters and an incredibly strong and flexible gorilla pod-style arm. Released earlier this year, the Pop Audio Pop Filter has received a stream of positive reviews, most recently being awarded 10/10 by MusicTech.
