Description
20th century style, 21st century design
Tierra Audio New Twenties incorporates 20th-century style with 21st-century design, to bring you a unique condenser microphone with bags of character in both the looks and sound department.
New Twenties is designed in homage to the 1920s, a time of post-war glamour and elegance - where self-improvement and candidness shone through - later earning the decade the nickname of 'The Roaring 20s'.
Now you can take yourself back with a microphone that looks like it has been taken straight from the period, powered by modern technology that is anything but old school.
Unmatched aesthetics are just the beginning - inside the stainless steel shell is a powerhouse of a condenser microphone that is ready to deliver warm, deep and creamy tones, developed with industry professionals to bring a microphone that is suitable for your studio and live applications.
Made in Spain with the help of the best.
The Tierra Audio New Twenties is designed with the modern musician in mind.
It features a bespoke anti-pop system with a three-layer mesh design that has been strategically interspersed to reduce the impacts of plosives and sibilance without altering your voice so that your performances and recordings sound smooth and natural, with an epoxy film around the chassis that maximises durability even in the most humid of environments.
The outer casing of the Tierra Audio New twenties is made of high grade 304 stainless steel.
Abrasion resistance, shock protection and protection from electromagnetic pollution is guaranteed to give you a microphone that is designed to last a lifetime.
If we were still in the 1920s it is highly likely that a microphone of this style would be heavy and would contain large cast-iron springs that would be used a suspension system for the main capsule.
Well, 100 years later and with technological advancements at an all-time high, Tierra Audio has come up with a lightweight solution inspired by watchmakers and their precision micro-springs that are designed with a similar grade of steel to the chassis for a more discreet and portable solution.
Modern materials, modern eco solutions
Tierra audio makes it their project to sustainably source all materials and make their process as environmentally friendly as possible and with New Twenties there is no exception.
A stainless steel chassis aids this vision making it 100 percent recyclable with laser engraved packaging reducing the use of chemicals that pollute the planet.
85 percent of Tierra Audio's suppliers are based in their home country of Spain, with New Twenties' being handcrafted in Madrid helping to keep the ecological footprint of each microphone as small as possible.
Tierra also pledges to plant a tree for every five New Twenties they sell.
